Victorian Christmas & Christmas light switch-on

A community Christmas event will commence at 11 am and will include musical entertainment, and an entertainment stage, with a magician and local school choirs throughout the afternoon. Porthcawl Museum have a Victorian-themed event for all the families within the Museum
Porthcawl Lions has a Father Christmas Grotto situated alongside the Porthcawl Museum.
The Christmas event will also include Christmas rides x3 (inside the Y centre), sideshows for the children and lantern decorating inside the Porthcawl Museum. There may be further lantern-making which we will update you on.
A procession with Father Christmas will leave the entrance to John Street at 4.15 pm (Outside Balkwills Chemist) and will walk to the bandstand in the middle of John Street for the Switch ON at 4.30-4.45pm The procession will be led by Steelworks Santa and followed by children with lanterns.

Santa Musicfest

We have local music acts performing at the bandstand and outside Porthcawl Museum from 11am.
